About Me...

    Hi, I’m Martha, owner of Colorful Kreations by Martha. I’m originally from the midwest, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, many moons ago. I live in Las Vegas with my husband and have three grown children. I’ve always been a creative and have also enjoyed working with kids. Before the party biz, I worked in child day care for many years. I discovered the wonderful world of Face painting and Balloon twisting, back in 2007, and found these industries to be a perfect profession for my mommy lifestyle, and to learn and grow in. I already had an art background and also plenty of experience in early childhood education and child daycare. It was right up my alley to be working with kids again, and doing new and exciting forms of art, things that feel very comfortable and natural to me. After being a stay-at-home mom for a few years, I had found my niche. I enjoy what I do. It’s rewarding to see the excitement my work brings to others, the smiles and the laughter. I have the priviledge of meeting all kinds of people, traveling around town attending endless birthday parties and events, where I entertain children, and people of all ages, with colorful face art, balloon creations, and glitter tattoos. The positive feedback I receive warms my heart. I take pride in my advanced skills and the quality of work I do. I have invested in my craft with countless hours of learning, attending conventions and classes for face & body painting, as well as for balloon sculpting, staying updated with current trends to further improve upon my skills. I’ve even entered a few competitions. I travel all over the Las Vegas Valley. I’m also licensed and insured.
